Online gamblers in New Jersey are lining up so that they can enjoy the experience that New Jersey online gambling has to offer. The Gaming Enforcement of New Jersey has officially announced that 126,231 players have now registered an account with one of the multiple online casinos available in New Jersey, this only happening in a one month period of time.
Online gambling in the state has been available to online punters for six weeks as of now. The amount of player registrations in the state wasn’t suspected to be this big but due to the healthy advertising campaign that has been going on since the full launch of legal online gambling on November 21st, 2013.
David Rebuck, the Gaming Enforcement Director for New Jersey commented on the increase in player account registrations saying, “We have had a steady increase in player account registrations since the full launch in November. We can only thank the advertising firms for being dedicated to their advertising campaigns. We continue to encourage other firms to make advertising campaigns and we are optimistic that the amount of accounts registered will continue to increase.”
PokerScout, the company that monitors the amount of poker traffic in the state has reported that Bwin.Party Poker is the dominating poker room with 50% of poker players choosing to play under their software.
Every week Bwin.Party receives 250 real money players wagering their money at the casino. Caesars on the other hand only has 150 players playing for real money, American Poker Network only has 80 players per week and Ultimate Poker has 18 players wagering money per week, closing up the market for the year.
